Okay, I don't ever suggest salt. However, I am currently using salt in two recipes...this one and my flour tortillas. I can't find the protein seasoning I used to use. So I'm searching for a good alternative.

This is a great way to go to avoid eating yeasty breads. I always prefer a biscuit, muffin, tortilla or likewise to bread that has yeast in it.

Sounds really good and something I could make, but just one question. What is turbantine or whatever that was on the ingredient list?

ok, that is really funny, I just read it back and my turbantine is a little off from turbandino. Turbandino doens't sound quite as lethal :)!

One more question. When you say 1/4 c. Butter & olive oil, do you mean 1/4 c. butter and 1/4 c. olive oil?

some prefer to have all butter in the recipe. Of course Olive oil is better for you, but I don't like it with straight Oil, so I do half and half on the amount. So in this case 2T butter and 2T Olive Oil.

Turbinado is evaporated cane juice and contains the vitamins and minerals that is lacking in white sugar. A good alternate sweetener, and a much better alternative to turpentine!
